Visitors to Singapore can rent a car from one of several car rental agencies that operate at the Singapore International Airport.

A causeway connects the Republic of Singapore to Peninsula Malaysia.  An excellent divided highway runs from Johor Baru in Malaysia to Kuala Lumpur and beyond.
