Singapore Tourist Information and Travel Guide
Singapore is the departure point and port-of-call for many Asian and Trans-Pacific cruises.
The modern Singapore Cruise Terminal is conveniently located on the Singapore Harbour. A taxi to the terminal from central Singapore costs under S$20.
If you prefer, it is possible to walk from the cruise terminal to Marina Bay. Simply head towards the distinctive three towers that are adjoined by what appears to be a cruise ship. This is the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
There is a metro station located approximately one-half a kilometer from the Singapore Cruise Terminal. It is called the Marina South Pier SMRT Station. From there, inexpensive access to any popular tourist attraction is possible.
For those who enjoy shopping, Vivo City, a popular shopping destination with 450 shops, is located next to the cruise terminal.
